Description

This horizontal composition by Georges Sempels (1926-1990) from 1961 has been mentioned  at the ‘Jeune Peinture Belge’ in the same year. It also has been exhibited at his retrospective exhibition in Hasselt early eighties.

This work and some others from this series meant a breakthrough for Georges Sempels. It lead to shows at the famous Zodiaque Gallery of Gérard Moneyn and many others.
