Description

A large vertical modern abstract painting by Geo (Georges) Sempels. Sempels always departed his compositions from the golden ratio. He would seek to unbalance at first in composition and then would go and seek balance again using color and tones.

This 1960 structure painting by Geo Sempels is from his early and most probably best period. This work has been shown at the Prix Ostende in 1960.

It is hand-signed and dated on the back by the artist.
