Description
The Delfi Table (1968), designed by Marcel Breuer and Carlo Scarpa, is an ode to classical architecture in a modernist form. Inspired by the temples of Delphi, it distills the column and capital into pure geometry.
This example is executed in Cristallino marble – an exceptionally rare variant, far less common than Carrara. Its subtle translucency and refined crystalline structure lend the table a sculptural presence, where design and architecture merge.
Produced by Simon Gavina.
